 Rais wa Zanzibar na Mwenyekiti wa Baraza la Mapinduzi Dk. Ali Mohammed Shein, akijumuika na Wananchi na Waumini wa dini ya Kiislam katika mazishi ya aliyekuwa Mnikulu Shaban Ahmada Hiliki, Kijijini kwao Mfenesini Vuga Mkadani Wilaya ya Magharibui Unguja.


Wananchi wakishirika katika mazishi ya Mnikulu wa Ikulu ya Zanzibar Shaban Ahmada Hilika, katika kijiji cha Vuga Mkadinim Unguja.

Mkurugenzi wa Mawasiliano Ikulu Hassan Khatib, akisoma risala ya Marehemu Shaban Ahmada Hilika wasifu wake wa kazi wakati wa uhai wake alivyokuwa akishirikiana na Wafanyakazi wa ngazi zote na kutowa msaada pale kunapokuwa na matatizo kwa wafanyakazi wake.

RAIS wa Zanzibar na Mwenyekiti wa Baraza la Mapinduzi Alhaj Dk. Ali Mohamed Shein, leo ameongoza mazishi ya marehemu Shaaban Ahmada Hilika, aliyekuwa Mkurugenzi wa Huduma za Rais (MNIKULU), katika Afisi ya Rais wa Zanzibar na Mwenyekiti wa Baraza la Mapinduzi.
Mazishi ya marehemu Hilika yalifanyika huko kijijini kwao Mfenesini Vuga Mkadini, Mkoa wa Mjini Magharibi ambapo viongozi mbali mbali, wananchi na wanafamilia walihudhuria akiwemo Bwana Shaaban Gurumo MNIKULU kutoka Afisi ya Rais wa Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania aliehudhuria akiiwakilisha afisi yake.

Baada ya kusaliwa katika msikiti wa Amaani, Mjini Unguja ambapo pia, Rais mstaafu wa Zanzibar Alhaj Dk. Amani Abeid Karume alihudhuria, mwili wa marehemu ulipelekwa huko kijijini kwao Mfenesini Vuga Mkadini kwa ajili ya mazishi mnamo majira ya saa saba za mchana.
Marehemu Shaaban Ahmada Hilika alifariki dunia jana tarehe 30/3/2012 huko katika hospitali Kuu ya MnaziMmoja.
Marehemu Hilika alizaliwa mwaka 1965 katika kijiji cha Mfenesini Vuga Mkadini na kupata elimu yake ya msingi katika skuli ya Kidutani Wilaya ya Mjini Mkoa wa Mjini Magharibi na kumaliza mwaka 1979.
Alimaliza elimu ya Sekondari katika Skuli ya Sekondari ya Vikokotoni mnamo mwaka 1983 ambapo pia, alijiendeleza kielimu na kufanya mitihani ya masomo ya Sekondatri ya Juu katika Skuli ya Lumumba mwaka 1999.
Mwa upande wa Elimu ya Kazi, marehemu Hilika alisoma masomo ya huduma za chakula na vinywaji katika vyuo mbali mbali ndani na nje ya nchi kwa mafunzo ya muda mfupi.
Marehemu alipata nafasi ya kujiunga na masomo ya Stashahada ya Juu katika fani ya Uongozi na Usimamizi wa Biashara katika Chuo cha Hoteli na Biashara kilichopo Dar es Salaam.
Utumishi wa umma wa marehemu ulianza rasmi mwezi Aprili, 1985, alipoajiriwa katika Chuo cha Hoteli na Utalii kama mwalimu wa Chuo hicho kabla ya kuhamishiwa kwenye hoteli ya Bwawani mwaka 1990.
Wakati akiwa katika hoteli ya Bwawani, marehemu aliwahi kushika nafasi mbali mbali ikiwa ni pamoja na kuwa Kaimu Meneja Mkuu wa Hoteli hiyo kuanzia mwaka 1998-2001.
Mwaka 2001 marehemu alihamishiwa Ofisi ya Rais na Mwenyekiti wa Baraza la Mapainduzi kushika nafasi ya Mnikulu, nafasi ambayo marehemu alidumu nayo hadi kufa kwake.
Akisoma Risala fupi katika mazishi ya marehemu Hilika, Mkurugenzi wa Mawasiliano Ikulu Hassan Khatibu, alisema kuwa marehemu katika utumishi wake wa umma alikuwa mchapa kazi hodari mwenye mashirikiano makubwa na wenzake ambapo pia alikuwa na uwezo wa kutatua matatizo kwa haraka na njia za hekima na busara.
Alieleza kuwa marehemu hakuwa na ubaguzi juu ya usimamizi wa kazi na utoaji wa haki kwa wafanyakazi na alikuwa msikivu na alikubali ushauri kutoka kwa wafanyakazi wenzake wa ngazi zote.
Sambamba na hayo, alieleza kuwa marehemu Hilika ameondoka wakati ambapo Ofisi ya Rais na Mwenyekiti wa Baraza la Mapinduzi inamhitajia kuliko wakati mwengine wowote, na ameacha pengo kubwa katika afisi hiyo.
Marehemu ameacha kizuka mmoja na watoto watatu. Mungu ailaze roho ya marehemu mahala pema peponi-Amin.

    MKAAZI wa Kwaalimsha, Habiba Juma Ramadhani (42) amefariki dunia baada chumba alichokuwa amelala kuteketea kwa moto.
Kamanda wa Polisi Mkoa wa Mjini Magharibi, Azizi Juma Mohammed alisema moto huo uliotokea juzi majira ya saa 2:00 pia ulimjeruhi Hassan Shaabani Idd (48), ambaye alilala katika chumba hicho.
Alisema kabla ya chumba walicholala marehemu na majeruhi huyo kuteketea kwa moto walikuwa wamewasha mshumaa ambapo ulipokaribia kumalizika ulirukia vitu vyengine chumbani na kuripuka.
Kamanda huyo alibainisha kuwa ilikuwa vigumu kujiokoa kwani inasemekana walilewa kabla ya kuchukuliwa na usingizi.
Kamanda Azizi alifahamisha kuwa, sambamba na matukio hayo vitu vilivyokuwemo ndani humo viliteketea kwa moto na hadi hivi sasa hakuna idadi kamili ya hasara iliyopatikana.
Baada ya majira ya saa 4 hadi 5 usiku watu walishitukia moto umeshika kasi katika chumba hicho cha bandani na wakiwa bado wamelala.
Katika kufanikisha tukio hilo jitihada za watu na kikosi cha Zimamoto na Uokozi zilifanyika kuokoa jitihada za zimamoto ndipo ziliwasaidia kuokoa majeruhi hao.
Lakini jitihada hizo zilipoendelea baada kupatikana mwanamke huyo ameshaungua vibaya sana na kupatikana amefariki muda mfupi na kufikishwa hospitali ya mnazi mmoja na kufanyiwa uchunguzi.
Katika chumba hicho vimeungua vitu vyote na katika nyumba hiyo chumba hicho pekee kilicho teketea kila kitu.

White People, You Will Never Look Suspicious Like Trayvon Martin! by Michael Skolnik

 17-year-old Trayvon Martin was shot and killed by a Neighborhood Watch captain inside his own gated Sanford, Florida community where he was living with his father, stepmother and little brother.




 I will never look suspicious to you. Even if I have a black hoodie, a pair of jeans and white sneakers on...in fact, that is what I wore yesterday...I still will never look suspicious. No matter how much the hoodie covers my face or how baggie my jeans are, I will never look out of place to you.  I will never watch a taxi cab pass me by to pick someone else up. I will never witness someone clutch their purse tightly against their body as they walk by me.  I won't have to worry about a police car following me for two miles, so they can "run my plates."  I will never have to pay before I eat. And I certainly will never get "stopped and frisked."  I will never look suspicious to you, because of one thing and one thing only.  The color of my skin.  I am white.
 I was born white.  It was the card I was dealt.  No choice in the matter.  Just the card handed out by the dealer. I have lived my whole life privileged. Privileged to be born without a glass ceiling. Privileged to grow up in the richest country in the world.  Privileged to never look suspicious.  I have no guilt for the color of my skin or the privilege that I have.  Remember, it was just the next card that came out of the deck.  But, I have choices.  I got choices on how I play the hand I was dealt.  I got a lot of options.  The ball is in my court.
 So, today I decided to hit the ball.  Making a choice.  A choice to stand up for Trayvon Martin. 17 years old. black. innocent. murdered with a bag of skittles and a bottle of ice tea in his hands. "Suspicious." that is what the guy who killed him said he looked like cause he had on a black hoodie, a pair of jeans and white sneakers.  But, remember I had on that same outfit yesterday.  And yes my Air Force Ones were "brand-new" clean.  After all, I was raised in hip-hop...part of our dress code.  I digress.  Back to Trayvon and the gated community in Sanford, Florida, where he was visiting his father.
 I got a lot of emails about Trayvon.  I have read a lot of articles.  I have seen a lot of television segments.  The message is consistent.  Most of the commentators, writers, op-ed pages agree.  Something went wrong.  Trayvon was murdered.  Racially profiled. Race. America's elephant that never seems to leave the room. But, the part that doesn't sit well with me is that all of the messengers of this message are all black too.  I mean, it was only two weeks ago when almost every white person I knew was tweeting about stopping a brutal African warlord from killing more innocent children.  And they even took thirty minutes out of their busy schedules to watch a movie about dude.  They bought t-shirts.  Some bracelets. Even tweeted at Rihanna to take a stance.  But, a 17 year old American kid is followed and then ultimately killed by a neighborhood vigilante who happens to be carrying a semi-automatic weapon and my white friends are quiet.  Eerily quiet. Not even a trending topic for the young man.
 We've heard the 911 calls. We seen the 13 year old witness.  We've read the letter from the alleged killer's father.  We listened to the anger of the family's attorney.  We've felt the pain of Trayvon's mother.  For heaven's sake, for 24 hours he was a deceased John Doe at the hospital because even the police couldn't believe that maybe he LIVES in the community.   There are still some facts to figure out. There are still some questions to be answered.  But, let's be clear.  Let's be very, very clear. Before the neighborhood watch captain, George Zimmerman, started following him against the better judgement of the 911 dispatcher.  Before any altercation.  Before any self-defense claim.  Before Travyon's cries for help were heard on the 911 tapes.  Before the bullet hit him dead in the chest.  Before all of this.  He was suspicious.  He was suspicious. suspicious. And you know, like I know, it wasn't because of the hoodie or the jeans or the sneakers.  Cause I had on that same outfit yesterday and no one called 911 saying I was just wandering around their neighborhood.  It was because of one thing and one thing only.  Trayvon is black.
 So I've made the choice today to tell my white friends that the rights I take for granted are only valid if I fight to give those same rights to others.  The taxi cab. The purse. The meal. The police car. The police. These are all things I've taken for granted.
 So, I fight for Trayvon Martin.  I fight for Amadou Diallo.  I fight for Rodney King.  I fight for every young black man who looks "suspicious" to someone who thinks they have the right to take away their freedom to walk through their own neighborhood.  I fight against my own stereotypes and my own suspicions. I fight for people whose ancestors built this country, literally, and who are still treated like second class citizens.  Being quiet is not an option, for we have been too quiet for too long.

I.NEWS:First year engineering student dies of injuries due to alleged ragging

   A first year aeronautical engineering student from the Kannur district in Kerala died in a private hospital in Bangalore of injuries sustained after allegedly being ragged by his seniors.
The boy, a student of Chikkabellapur Shahib Engineering College, died at the hospital last night after battling burn injuries for eight days, family sources said.
Ajmal was admitted to Victoria hospital on March 22 with 60 per cent burn injuries.


His relatives alleged that Ajmal had suffered burn injuries due to ragging and that he had been constantly harassed by his seniors ever since he joined the college six months back.
Family sources said Karnataka police are probing the cause of burn injuries, but suspected it was caused due to ragging.

I.NEWS: Curfew imposed in Sangareddy after communal violence

Hyderabad: Communal violence broke out in Sangareddy town of Andhra Pradesh, forcing the police to clamp indefinite curfew. Twenty people were injured and several shops were set afire in the large scale violence late on Thursday night in Sangareddy town of Medak district, about 70 km from here.


The violence broke out on Thursday night when a youth allegedly posted on Facebook a provocative photograph of a place of worship. Even as a group of people was staging a protest outside police station demanding his arrest, a mob started attacks on shops and vehicles at Old Bus Stand.



The police on Friday said the situation was peaceful but tense. A police officer said patrolling has been intensified in the sensitive areas and the curfew was continuing as a precautionary measure.

The rampaging mob set afire 40 shops, two four-wheelers and four auto rickshaws. It also looted several other shops and small road-side kiosks. A police vehicle was also torched. The looting and attacks continued till 1 a.m. Locals alleged that the police remained mute spectator.

As many as 20 people including few policemen were also injured in the stone pelting by two groups. Police had called additional forces from other parts of the district. As a precautionary measure, security had been tightened in other towns and districts.

I.NEWS:Israeli diplomat attack: Kazmi seeks bail

New Delhi: Journalist Syed Mohammed Ahmad Kazmi, arrested for his alleged role in the February 13 bomb attack at Israeli diplomat Tal Yehoshua's car, resulting in critical injuries to her, on Friday moved a Delhi court for bail.


Kazmi's bail plea, filed in the court of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Vinod Yadav, is to come up for hearing on Saturday.
Court sources said Kazmi has sought bail on the ground that the police had told the court earlier, at the time he was sent to the judicial custody, that the probe vis-a-vis him has been completed.


He has said due to completion of the probe against him, he had been sent to judicial custody on March 24 mid-way his tenure for the police custody till March 27.
Kazmi had earlier alleged that police was harassing him in custody to pressurise him to "confess a crime he never committed" and that "foreign agencies like Mossad were also interrogating him."

The court had then asked the Special Cell not to permit other investigating agencies to interrogate him but had imposed no bar from sharing information with other agencies.

Kazmi, who claims to have been writing for an Iranian publication, was picked up by the Special Cell of Delhi Police after the probe showed he had been in touch with a suspect who is believed to have stuck the magnetic bomb on Israeli diplomat Tal Yehoshua's car on February 13.

Yehoshua and an Indian driver of the Embassy vehicle were among the four people injured in the blast.

O Allah! I ask You for success concerning my destiny, and feast with the martyr, and enjoyment with fortunate people, and the companionship of Apostles, and victory over my enemies; for it is You who listens to the Prayer
O Allah! Improve (help) the state of the Ummah of Muhammad. O Allah! Grant ease to the Ummah of Muhammad. O Allah! Have mercy on the Ummah of Muhammad.
O Allah!  Suffice me in my wishes and inclinations. O Allah! suffice me against anyone who oppresses me. O Allah! suffice me against those who envy me. O Allah! suffice me against those who wish to harm me. O Allah! suffice me in the last moments of death

I seek refuge in You from being over-powered by others, or that I would over-power others (unjustly), or that I should seduce or tyrannize others, or be oppressed by them; or that I be shown ignorance and vulgarity by others, or I be vulgar to them; or from going astray myself, or be mislead by others
O Allah!  Punish the kafirs, and cause in their hearts terror (about the true believers) and cause friction among them, and send down Your wrath and punishment on them.

O My Lord! Do not make me a trial for the wrongdoing people, and deliver me by Your Mercy from the (subjection of) disbelieving people.



O Allah!  God of Jibraeil, Makaiil and Israfil, and the God of Ibrahim, and Ismail and Ishaq, Grant me peace and security, and do not let anyone of Your creatures overcome me, with anything which I have no power to forbear.
Our Lord! Pour out constancy on us and make our steps firm: Help us against those that reject faith

Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget or fall into error; our Lord! Lay not on us a burden Like that which Thou didst lay on those before us; Our Lord! O Allah! Help the Muslims in Palestine, and in Chechnya, and in Kashmir, and in Iraq, and in India, and in Afghanistan, and in the Philippines, and in Pakistan and in all Places.

O Allah! Raise the standing of Islam and Muslims, and let our country and all the Muslim countries be peaceful and prosperous. By Your Mercy, O The Most Merciful.
O Allah! Raise the standing of Islam and the Muslims, O Allah raise the standing and the Muslims, and degrade the standing of Kufr and the Kaafireen, and Shirk and the Mushrikeen. Destroy the enemies of the Deen, and protect the lands of Islam, O Lord of the Worlds.

Serikali Kutafuta Mwekezaji Eneo la Mangapwani

Serikali ya Mapinduzi ya Zanzibar imesema inatafuta mwekezaji mwengine katika eneo la Mangapwani wilaya ya kasikazini “B” Unguja baada ya Shirika la Agakhan Foundation kushindwa kuliendeleza eneo hilo ambalo walikodishwa na Serikali kwa lengo la kuliendeleza.

Hayo yamesemwa leo huko Baraza La Wakilishi Zanzibar na Waziri wa Nchi Ofisi ya Rais na Mwenyekiti wa Baraza la Mapinduzi Dk. Mwiji Haji Makame wakati akijibu swali la Mwakilishi wa Jimbo la Kwamtipura Hamza Hassan Juma (CCM) aliyetaka kujua hatma ya mwekezaji huyo ambaye kashindwa kuliendeleza eneo hilo kwa muda mrefu.


Dk.Mwinyi Haji akijibu swali hilo amesema kwamba mkataba wa mradi huo umefutwa tokea mwaka 2008 baada ya kusimamishwa mkataba wa kukodishwa ardhi kutokana na muekezaji huyo kushindwa kutekeleza yale aliyoagiza.

Aidha alisema kuwa kutokana na mradi huo kufutwa kabisa na muwekezaji kushindwa kuomba kurejeshewa kwa mradi huo serikali inatafuta mwekezaji mwengine ambae ataweza kuliendeleza eneo hilo kwa kuweka miradi mbalimbali .

Dk.Mwinyi Haji alisema kwamba, kwa sasa Serikali imepokea maombi mengi kwa waekezaji wengine kwaajili ya kuliendeleza eneo hilo ili kutimiza azma ya kuwawezesha wananchi wa Mangapwani kupata ajira.

Kwa upande wake Naibu Waziri wa Biashara Viwanda na Masoko Thuwaiba Edington Kisasi amesema kuna viashiria vinavyoonesha kuongezeka kwa shughuli mbalimbali za kiuchumi Pemba kutokana na ujazo wa fedha uliojitokeza kwa sababu ya mavuno ya Karafuu.

Thuwaiba aliyasema hayo alipokuwa akijibu swali la Mwakilishi wa Jimbo la Muyuni Jaku Hashim Ayuob aliyetaka kujua iwapo bei mpya ya Karafuu imesaidia kuinua kipato cha wakulima.

Thuwaiba amevitaja viashiria hivyo vya kiuchumi kuwa ni pamoja na kuongezeka kwa ujenzi wa nyumba za kudumu na za kisasa,kuongezeka kwa ununuzi wa vipando kama vile magari na pikipiki na ongezeko la uanzishwaji wa miradi midogo midogo ya maendeleo.

Kikao hicho kidogo cha Baraza la Wawakilishi kimenza leo katika Ofisi zake zilizoko Mbweni nje kidogo ya mji wa Zanzibar ambapo inatarajiwa kuchukua muda wa wiki mbili.

Nilikua njiani naelekea ofisini kwangu, nikiwa mitaa ya Darajani Zanzibar simu yangu iliita aliyenipigia alijitambulisha na nilikua simjui, alisema yupo Mkoani Kigoma anafanya kazi shirika moja la kimataifa, alinieleza anahitaji mtu wa kushirikiana naye katika mambo ya kibiashara anayetoka Zanzibar, alidai alipatiwa namba yangu na moja kati ya rafiki zangu wanao ishi Uk, na hakutaka nimuulize niliendelea kumsikiliza.
Akaanza kunielekeza anafanya Biashara ya kununua Product ambayo inahifadhi vyakula visiharibike na akanipatia namba ya mtu anayehusika katika utengenezaji wa production na jina lake akadai anaitwa Ibrahim na anapatikana Mahonda Zanzibar, akaniambianimpigie Ibra kumuuliza kama hiyo Production ipo na inapatikana kwa bei gani, nilimpata Ibrahim na akanieleza wanazo bidhaa kutoka ncho tofauti lakini best zinatoka Sweeden na bei yake kwa chupa 2 ni T shs 1,200,000/= nikamjibu yule jamaa aliyenitambulisha kwa Ibra kwamba bei yake ndio hiyo, baada ya hapo akaniambia kwamba pia wapo mabosi wake wa kizungu wamefikia Zamani Kenpisky Hotel Pwani Mchangani wananunua hiyo bidhaa kwa bei ya juu sana mara 2 ya bei ya kununulia, wakati nawasiliana na hawa jamaa tokea dakika ya kwanza niligundua kwamba hawa ni matapeli na nilichukua hatua za kuripoti tukio hili kituo cha Polisi na walifika kwa wakati nikawa nawashirikisha katika mawasiliano na hawa matapeli.

Nikawaeleza Polisi tukaweka mtego baada ya muda kidogo nikawaambia kwamba fedha tayari waniletee mzigo, wakanielekeza walipo wakaniambia wapo Kibweni tukaenda mimi nilitangulia na polisi wakiwa nyumba yangu kwa umbali kidogo, nikapiga simu akaja kijana mmoja akaniuliza ni wewe niliyeagizwa kuhusu mzigo nikamwambia ni mimi na mzigo uko wapi nikupatioe hizo fedha? akaniambia nimsubiri kidogo akaufuate niliendelea kusubiri pale na kupiga simu hakutokea baadae alizima simu kabisa.
Nikawaarifu polisi kwamba jamaa wameshtuka nikarudi ofisini kwangu. nilichoamua kufanya baada ya hapo niliwapigia simu wale jamaa wote tuliokuwa tunawasiliana kwamba nawashukuru sana mzigo nimeupata na tumeshafanya biashara nimemkabidhi jamaa Milioni moja na Laki mbili ispokuwa jamaa aliyepokea pesa alitaka wale jamaa wote wasijue kama tayari ameshapokea fedha.
na nikawashukuru sana sikujua kilichoendelea baada ya hapo, hii ni tahadhari natoa kwa wenzangu wa JF na watanzania tuwe makini na tujiepushe na tamaa za kijinga tutaingizwa mjini.

Zanzibar became the winner of the annual Russian tourism consumer award "Star Travel.ru"-2011. The islands won the award for "Best Resort in Africa (excluding Egypt)”. Among the 23 resorts nominated by tourists and travelers for the award, Zanzibar gained the most votes.
The official Star Travel award ceremony was carried on 22 March 2012 within the framework of the Moscow International Travel and Tourism Exhibition (MITT 2012). Mr. Mbarouk N. Mbarouk, Head of Chancery of the Tanzanian Embassy in Moscow, received the award on behalf of the Embassy.

“Star Travel.ru "- is the first consumer award in tourism and the only one of its kind in Russia. The prize was conceived in 2003 and is awarded on the results of online voting by tourists and travelers. In 2010 the Star Travel Award for the best resort in Africa (excluding Egypt) was won by Agadir (Morocco)
This year mark the 10th anniversary since Tanzania started regular promotions of its tourism attractions in the Russian Federation by participating in tourism exhibitions, organizing roadshows, seminars, press tours, distribution of brochures etc. The Star Travel award, therefore, is partly recognition of these promotion efforts carried out by tourism stakeholders, namely Tanzania Tourism Board, Zanzibar Tourism Commission, Tanzania National Parks, the Embassy of Tanzania in Moscow and others, over the last 10 years.

Bi Tele na Wasanii Wezake Chupuchupu Kupata Kipigo

Wasanii wa maigizo wa kikundi cha Valentine Arts Group cha mtaa wa Jang'ombe, juzi walinusurika kupata kipigo baada ya watu waliohudhuria onesho lao kuzusha vurugu, na wasanii hao kuokolewa na polisi.
Onesho la kikundi hicho lilifanyika katika skuli ya Chumbuni kwa kutunia umeme wa jenereta kutokana na juzi Jumapili nishati hiyo kuzimwa nchi nzima kwa ajili ya matengenezo katika kituo cha Ubungo mjini Dar es Salaam.
Vurugu hizo zilianza mara baada ya kuharibika kwa jenereta hali iliyosababisha kuvunjika kwa onesho hilo.

Hali hiyo iliwafanya baadhi ya watu waliohudhuria kuanza kurusha mawe dhidi ya wasanii hao akiwemo mwanamama aliyejipatia umaarufu kwa jina la Bi Tele anayeigiza uchawi katika igizo la ‘Husdaa’ linalorushwa kila siku ya Jumatano katika kituo cha ZBC Televisheni.
Akizungumza na gazeti hili mara baada ya polisi kudhibiti ghasia hizo, Mwalimu msaidizi wa kikundi hicho Samuel Said Makunga, alisema vitendo hivyo si uungwana, na kwamba wananchi hao hawakupaswa kufanya fujo na badala yake walikuwa wasubiri.
Naye msanii anayetikisha katika igizo la ‘Husdaa’ Bi Tele, alilaani vitendo hivyo na kuongeza kuwa akili za vijana waliohusika navyo zinasumbuliwa na bangi.
Kwa upande wao, baadhi ya wapenzi wa sanaa waliokuwepo, walidai kuwa walilazimika kufanya hivyo kwani tayari walikwishalipa fedha ili kupata burudani hiyo, na kwamba waliamua kuwapa fundisho wasanii hao.

A doctor entered the hospital in hurry after being called in for an urgent surgery. He answered the call asap, changed his clothes and went directly to the surgery block. He found the boys father going and coming in the hall waiting for the doctor. Once seeing him, the dad yelled: Why did you take all this time to come? Dont you know that my son's life is in danger? Don't you have the sense of responsibility??The doctor smiled and said: I am sorry, I wasn't in the hospital and I came as fast as I could after receiving the call. And now, I wish you would calm down so that I can do my work??Calm down?! What if your son was in this room right now, would you calm down? If your own son dies now what will you do??? said the father angrily. The doctor smiled again and replied: From dust we came and to dust we return. Doctors cannot prolong lives. Go and pray to God for your son, we will do our best by Gods grace??Giving advice when we're not concerned is so easy? Murmured the father. The surgery took some hours after which the doctor went out happy, Thank God!, your son is saved!?And without waiting for the father.s reply he carried on his way running. If you have any question, ask the nurse!!??
 Father: Why is he so arrogant? He couldnt wait some minutes so that I ask about him my son's state? commented the father when seeing the nurse minutes after the doctor left. The nurse answered, tears coming down her face: His son died yesterday in a road accident, he was in the burial when we called him for your son's surgery. And now that he saved your son's life, he left running to finish the formalities.
 We sometimes feel we have the worst moments and yet there are people whose lives are really messed up but they remain strong enough to carry on our burdens!

ZANZIBAR imefanikiwa kuwa mshindi wa kwanza na kujinyakulia tuzo ya Utalii nchini Russia kwa mwaka 2011, ‘Star Travel.ru 2011’.
Tuzo hiyo hushindaniwa kila mwaka kwa maeneo yalio bora zaidi kwa shughuli za kiutalii barani Afrika, ambapo watalii na waongoza watalii wa nchi hiyo hutembelea.
Akitoa taarifa kwa waandishi wa habari, Mkurugenzi Mkuu wa Kamisheni ya Utalii Zanzibar, Ali Khalil Mirza, amesema amepokea taarifa hiyo kutoka Ubalozi wa Tanzania nchini Russia, ikielezea Zanzibar kuchaguliwa kuwa mshindi wa tuzo hiyo, kama eneo lililo bora kwa shughuli za kiutalii barani Afrika.

Alisema kuwa kinyang’anyiro hicho kilihusisha maeneo 23 yalio bora zaidi kwa shughuli za kiutalii, ispokuwa nchi ya Misri haikushirikishwa.
Alisema tayari tuzo hiyo imekabidhiwa kwa Ubalozi wa Tanzania nchini humo tangu juzi katika hafla maalum ilioambatana na kuanza kwa maonyesho ya Kimataifa ya Utalii nchini.
Mirza alisema ushindi wa tuzo huyo unatokana na msukumo mkubwa wa Ubalozi wa Tanzania nchini Russia pamoja na hatua ya Kamisheni hiyo kufanya ziara maalum ya kuutangaza utalii wa Zanzibar mnamo 2009.
Alisema makubaliano yaliofikiwa kati ya Kamisheni ya Utalii na Makampuni ya kutembeza watalii yamelifanya soko la Utalii nchini Russsia kuimarika, ambapo wastani wa watalii 300 hufika nchini kila mwaka tangu wakati huo.
Alieleza kuwa hayo ni mafanikio makubwa kwa soko la utalii nchini Russia kwa kuzingatia watalii wanaokuja ni wale wanaotumia zaidi, ambao hufikia katika Hoteli zenye hadhi za juu kama vile Plan Hotel,Lagema,Green of Zanzibar na The Residents.
Aidha alisema Kamisheni yake ina matumaini makubwa kuwa ifikapo 2013 idadi ya wataalii kutoka nchi hiyo itaongezeka, hususan pale Shirika la ndege la Uturuki litakapoanza kufanya safari zake moja kwa moja hadi Zanzibar, ikizingatiwa watalii hao hivi sasa hutumia usafiri wa Shirika la Emirates, na kutembelea kwanza katika Mbuga za wanyama na hatimae kuja Zanzibar.
Mkurugenzi huyo alivitaja baadhi ya vigezo muhimu vinavyozingatiwa katika kumpata mshindi wa tuzo hiyo, kuwa ni pamoja na hali ya usalama, kufikiwa kwa matarajio ya wageni, vivutio vya utalii ikiwemo michezo mbali mbali (pwani na ufukweni), huduma katika mahoteli pamoja na tamaduni za wenyeji.

Makamu wa Pili wa Rais wa Zanzibar Balozi Seif Ali Iddi katika Picha pamoja na Wajumbe wa Baraza la Wawakilishi Zanzibar baada ya kuifungua Semina ya Utekelezaji wa Mkuza nje wa ukumbi wa Hoteli ya Neptune Pwani Mchangani.
Juhudi za kupambana na Umaskini hapa Nchini ni vyema zikajikita zaidi katika kuimarisha Uchumi sambamba na huduma za Kijamii kwa lengo la kustawisha maisha bora ya Wananchi.
Makamu wa Pili wa Rais wa Zanzibar Balozi Seif Ali Iddi amesema hayo wakati akiifungua Semina ya siku mbili ya Wajumbe wa Baraza la Wawakilishi Zanzibar inayohusu utekelezaji wa Mpango wa Kupunguza  Umaskini Zanzibar { MKUZA } inayofanyika katika Hoteli ya Neptune Pwani Mchangani.
Balozi Seif alisema wimbi la umaskini hushamiri iwapo jamii itakosa huduma za Elimu, ongezeko la uzazi katika umri mdogo, ukosefu wa usawa wa kijinsia pamoja na uchumi duni kwa akina mama ambao ndio wengi katika familia.

Balozi Seif alisema Umoja wa Mataifa umepitisha Azimio la utekelezaji wa Malengo la Milenia ili Dunia iondokane na umaskini ifikapo mwaka 2015 na kuzitaka Nchi Wanachama hasa zinazoendelea kujipangia mikakati ya kuuondoa Umaskini kwa kupitia utekelezaji wa Mipango yao ya maendeleo.
Makamu wa Pili wa Rais wa Zanzibar alisisitiza kwamba Serikali imo katika hatua za kupambana na umaskini kupitia utekelezaji wa Mkuza ingawa Wananchi waliowengi bado hawajaelewa Mpango huu.
Alieleza kwamba yapo mafanikio makubwa yamepatikana katika huduma za Kijamii zikiwemo Elimu, Afya na huduma za Maji safi mafanikio yanayoonekana zaidi kwenye kupunguza umaskini usio wa kipato.
Akizungumzia changamoto zilizojichomoza wakati wa utekelezaji wa Mkuza Balozi Seif alisema Mfumko wa bei umekuwa bado tatizo kinyume na lengo la chini ya asilimia 10% ukiathiriwa zaidi na ongezeko la bei ya mafuta na chakula katika soko la Dunia.
Akigusia Ukuaji mdogo wa Sekta ya Kilimo wa asilimia 4.6 Balozi Seif alisema unaonekana kushusha mchango wa Sekta hiyo katika pato la Taifa wakati Sekta ya Kilimo bado ni muajiri Mkuu wa nguvu kazi ya Taifa.

Makamu wa Pili wa Rais wa Zanzibar alifahamisha kwamba hali hiyo imechangia kuwa na mafanikio madogo katika kuhakikisha kuwepo kwa usalama wa chakula.
Semina hiyo ya siku mbili inahusisha Mada kadhaa ikiwa pamoja na Mipango ya Maendeleo, Mapitio ya Dira
ya Maendeleo ya Zanzibar ya 2020, Matokeo muhimu katika uchagumbuzi wa matumizi ya kaya pamoja na maandalizi ya Bajeti na mahusiano na Mkuza.
